This is what I commented on an audiophiles' YouTube review of the Willsenton: First off: I have no previous experience with high-end tube amps so I was not sure what to expect. Recently I got more into high-end audio and inevitably tube amps caught my attention. I ordered a Willsenton R8 on August31 and it arrived September21. It costed €675,77 and the shipping added €270,77 which made a total of €945,90. Duties added €17,22 Total: €973,12 Customer service is a bit quirky, but I guess that mostly comes down to the mediocre understanding of the English language from mr. Yong Lee or perhaps because of cultural differences. All in all I got the feeling he was really doing his utmost best. To the amplifier: at first I was underwhelmed by the sound. I thought to myself: is this the famous tuby sound? What am I missing? But it gradually sounded better and better and sure enough, I am hooked on tube amps from now on. The R8 handles two Magnat MSP200 large floorstanding and closed-box speakers just fine and I found the lower frequencies pretty substantial which amazed me, since tube amps do not have a reputation in that regard. It's very powerful, no doubt about it. A few days ago I got my hands on the legendary IMF TLS80 speakers and it's an even better combination than the Magnats. From (ultra)low, to mid to (ultra)high frequencies, it's all absolutely brilliant. Especially some good recordings of piano pieces from Bach/Busoni were so realistic that it almost felt like...

Great Amp, outstanding experience and most importantly, the absolute best customer service! First of all, I was very hesitant to place an order direct from a foreign company for fear of being ripped off but I really wanted this amp. After a great deal of internal debate, I sent an email asking about the purchasing process. I received an email the next day from Mr. Lee explaining the cost break down and estimated ship times. I decided to go for it and much to my delight everything worked out wonderfully. The cost were exactly what Mr. Lee stated in his emails, he answered every question via email in rapid form. The Amp was very well packaged, tracking the package was simple and accurate. Now the quality of the Willsenton R8, it's amazing. The build quality is outstanding and the sound is incredible. This is one of my proudest purchase experiences ever! I highly recommend China HiFi Audio, the Willsenton R8 and most importantly, Mr. Lee and his superior customer service, I wish I could get the same type of customer attention from all companies. Again, a special thank you to Mr. Lee!

I received it about 15 days ago. It finally (today) produced the sound that I was hoping to hear. Absolutely amazing! Check out on Youtube: Audiophile master test disk 1- Audiophile heaven- HQ- Lossless- High fidelity music....and play it. You will be surprised of what you are going to hear. Connects to my modified vintage EL30 infinity (woofers: 10 inch 96dB, 8 ohms Chinese Made woofer (10FW65T2 from ci-audio.com), midrange: JBL Control 1G bookshelf speakers). Both are connected to the EL30 original crossovers. The tweeters are disconnected as well. Almost bought the new RP600M for this tube amp hahaha...glad did not do it. I am happy. All earlier reviews were right. This tube amp is absolutely special.

Had this amplifier only for two weeks but straight out of the box sounds amazing,always wanted a 300B amp but much too expensive here in uk! I’m also familiar with single ended valves amp as I’ve had audio note for 25 years so trust me when i say this amp is top quality sound and build , would recommend to anyone!

Very Impressed! Ordered the R-800 10-22-20 and it was at my door 10-29-20 mid-day! (Idaho, USA). I was closely following tracking and it was in China two days before it made it to my door...how is that possible. Anyway, Young Lee even emailed me apologizing for having to wait for the shipment to be initially sent. Wow, I was expecting about 2 months. The amp was packed extremely well. The tubes were in the sockets with very thick and dense Styrofoam around them. I can say now I feel 100% confident in the shipping practices used by China-hifi. Build quality is amazing and it is just beautiful to look at. It will take some time for the tubes to burn in and I don't have my Tekton speakers yet (using old Polk 10 monitors) but the sound is already very, very good. Seemed to improve just over the couple of hours I've listened so far. If I can update later I will. But for now, A++ from initial order to placing in my listening room!

Great service from China Hi Fi. Amp arrived after just over a month, double boxed, to London UK in excellent condition and was easy to set up and sounded good straight out the box. I am now starting to think about changing the stock tubes which will be interesting as lots of options available with this amp. Build quality is exemplary and the built in tube bias meter is really practical and useful. China Hi Fi is a well run business and this product is thoroughly recommended!

As speakers go for $198.56 US Dollars we have a real bargain here. The cabinets fit and finish is first rate. The sound quality is fantastic for the price. The speaker covers fit & finish is ok. Overall the speakers sound is pretty neutral. I powered these speakers with three different integrated amps. Jadis Orchestra Reference, Sophia Electric Prodigy and Simaudio 600i Version 1. My preference overall was the Simaudio which is a warm sounding solid state amp with 125watts into 8 ohms. These speakers are small in statue but large and punchy in sound and really benefitted from good solid state power. Competitive with other speaker i tried up to about $850.00. Overall very satisfying without a subwoofer. Bass goes as low as advertised in a small to midsized room.

Okay, so I decided I wanted to hear a 300b tube single ended amp before I kick the bucket. I asked Mr. Lee what he recommended and this one of two options. I chose this one because of the photos of interior build quality but was slightly mor expensive. Holy crap, is this thing unreal. The sound is so lifelike, detailed and natural. I already own a Primaluna dialogue 2 that I run el34s and gold lion kt88...That amp was 5 k new I believe I paid, and this thing is smoking it right out of the box. Buy this amp immediately. The remote is kind of sucky, it doesn't always work, but i just get off my ass to adjust the volume, no big deal at all. The build quality and the knobs are unreal.
